Mike Shekhtman is the President and Chief Executive Officer of CuttingEdge Paradigm Consultants Incorporated. Prior to establishing CuttingEdge Paradigm, Mike spent the last ten years in various roles and has always proven his ability to drive revenues while strategically decreasing operational expenditures. Mike’s diverse experience in telecommunications, technology, resource management, consumer packaged goods, and business consulting have garnered him not only a varied skill set, but also an incredible network of Corporate Executives in the Vancouver marketplace. Through all of his experience and business relationships, Mike has developed proven methodologies for enhancing the business performance and productivity of organizations in the public and private sectors. Mike studied Social Sciences at Capilano College and Marketing Management at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
Valentine Shactman, Chief Operating Officer
Having joined CuttingEdge Paradigm Consultants in 2009, Valentine Shactman brings a wealth of expertise in operations, sourcing, change management, planning and business analysis. Valentine has fifteen years of experience working with renowned organizations such as Kodak, PMC Sierra, and VRB Power Systems, and has held positions such as: Configurations Control, Team Lead of Engineering Change Management, and Supply Chain Management. Over the course of his career, Valentine has successfully developed strategic plans to accomplish his own vision, as well as those of his clients. Spearheading new procedures in every position that he has held, Val has been consistently successful with increasing efficiency and productivity for his clients, as well as decreasing bottom line expenditures. Valentine holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a Diploma in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

As a Director of CuttingEdge Paradigm Consultants, Josef Shechter brings a track record of success in multiple entrepreneurial ventures. He is currently a Director of Royal Flush Holding
Inc. – a very successful real estate holding company in commercial and residential properties – and he has a background in various small business ventures. Josef brings a great degree of experience in working with businesses for which well managed capital and careful spending are a critical factor in their early success. Throughout his career, Josef has been managing multiple ventures simultaneously and has been able to take a plethora of valuable experience from each successful project and apply it to the next. Coupled with his experience, Josef brings a diploma in Business Administration from Capilano University and a wealth of practical experience with strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
